The chamber is completely filled with warm air which reaches all points of the interior for consistently through warming with no cold-spots.

The fan may be turned off and operated as a gravity convection incubator for applications that require undisturbed air movement. 

Memmert universal incubators feature the ControlCOCKPIT:  An adaptive multifunctional digital PID-microprocessor controller with high-definition TFT-color display and these adjustable parameters: Temperature (Celsius or Fahrenheit), air flap position, program time, time zones, daylight savings time.

Memmert universal incubators can be calibrated using three freely selectable temperature values. 

Memmert universal incubators are equipped with a SetpointWAIT function; essentially pausing the start of the warming process until the set temperature is reached.

Programs can be set to run forward or backward using a countdown timer with an adjustable target time setting from 1 minute to 99 days.

Pre-heated fresh air admixture can be added to the chamber using adjustable air flaps that are set in 10 % steps.

Heating elements are positioned on four sides of the chamber creating a warm blanket of soft heated air.

Fresh air is pulled into the incubator from the bottom and exhaled through a port in the rear of the incubator.
