Benchmark Scientific's TC9639 thermal cycler with gradient technology and unique block that holds both 0.5 and 0.2mL tubes. 

Versatile, fast, and reliable, the Benchmark TC9639 Thermal Cycler is the perfect all-purpose PCR machine. Its multi-format sample block is suitable for use with 96 x 0.2 ml tubes, 39 x 0.5 ml tubes, and 96-well plates: no interchangeable parts required!

With a large, full-color touch screen, a program wizard, and a graphical display, setting up your protocols is fast and intuitive. Get started with one of ten pre-loaded programs or make your own by choosing the appropriate icon from the home screen.

Programs are fully customizable: options include adjustable ramp rates and time or temperature increments for touchdown PCR or amplification of long products.

This thermal cycler offers unlimited program storage, and user folders can be named and password protected using the full alphanumeric virtual keyboard. For faster access, you can add new icons for your favorite programs.

Using an algorithm that simulates sample temperatures, control of heating and cooling is precise and consistent, with maximum ramp rates of 4°C per second. By preventing over- and under-shoot, samples reach the programmed temperature quickly with an accuracy of 0.2°C.

The heated lid of this thermal cycler is adjustable to ensure even contact with your tubes and eliminate sample evaporation and condensation. For reverse transcription or other specialty applications, the lid temperature can be selected from a range of 30°C to 112°C. When the block temperature drops below 35°C, the lid automatically turns off.

For even more flexibility, the unit may be purchased with an optional 384-well block or an adapter that holds up to four slides for in situ PCR or hybridization of pathology samples.
