Use permeable cell culture inserts made from translucent polyethylene with 0.4µm pore size to mimic in vivo conditions

Cell culture inserts with these characteristics are excellent for primary cells, tumor cells, stem cells

• Inserts remain centered in wells, preventing membrane from touching sides and wicking between insert and side wall
• Membrane remains suspended above well bottom, allowing co-culture: grow one cell line inside insert, and another below in the well
• Ideal for drug transfer assays, transport studies, migration assays, and cell-cell interaction studies
• Transfer cultures to fresh media by moving the insert to a new plate
• 0.4µm pore size is ideal for co-culture, cell differentiation, cell imaging and secretion of macromolecules or viruses
• Membrane made from polyethylene (PET), plate made from polystyrene 
• Packed 6 well inserts to a 6 well plate. Ten plates per case, 60 total well inserts
• Growth area is 4.67cm2 per well and pore density is 1 x 10⁸
• Not autoclavable
