View DNA gels up to 16.5 x 13.5cm with this compact benchtop UV transilluminator.

The unit is smaller than a piece of paper, but thanks to the cleverly designed lid hinges, is large enough for viewing a midsize DNA gel.

The myView utilizes four 6W bulbs, reflector system and special diffusing filter glass to offer exceptionally uniform illumination across the surface.

Users are protected by harmful effects of UV radiation by the hinged, UV blocking safety cover. Two friction hinges on the front edge of the cover allow for easy adjustment of the cover angle.

Position the cover horizontally for general viewing, tilt it at an angle for gel access and band cutting, or fully open to use the SmartDoc ™ Imaging Enclosure (sold separately) for gel imaging with a smartphone.

If purchasing together with a SmartDoc, you will need to use either the 535nm filter for viewing Sybersafe green dyes on UV or the 590nm filter for viewing EtBr stained gels.
